Wow wow wow. Hands down the best Italian food I've ever had!!! Cheese soufflé and carpaccio were incredible. The service was super friendly and on point. I know we were in for a treat when I walked by and saw the pizza. For dinner we shared lobster and a ribeye. The pasta was home made and the sauce was very fresh. I'll definitely be returning.

We got a deal off Yelp and decided to try this place after seeing good reviews and food options. We arrived at the restaurant got seated by the host who looked like she didn't care at all about us, didn't greet us. After being seated we waited for 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. We didn't look very happy and he definitely noticed because he offered us two champagne. We ordered the Margarita pizza and the Funghi Prosciutto pizza, which were very good! That was the only good thing about our experience!

Visited this small Italian restaurant back in March, and just getting around to reviewing it. What a fabulous find on our first night in Miami Beach. Great cocktails, and food. But the best part was the treatment of the Italian men, and women working that night, from our fabulous bartender, to our wonderful pizza cook Antonio, to the ladies tending to the front. Enjoyed it so much that we visited twice in the 4 nights we had in Miami.

Very good authentic Italian. Caesar with anchovies, margarita pizza and seafood pasta. All yummy. Don't come if you are on a tight schedule. They take their time.

My spaghetti promodoro came perfectly aldente; sauce was delish, produce was of top quality. Friend's mushroom ravioli was excellent. Not too many restaurants on Ocean Drive impress me but this one I'd definitely come back !!

We are visiting from out of town and chose this place based on reviews. I realize now, it wasn't a good choice to bring the family. I have to start with the calamari. I've been to many Italian restaurants and almost always I get calamari. Most Italian restaurants can make it with their eyes closed. This was, by far, the worst calamari my husband and I have ever had. My dish was ok. My husband got the seafood pizza and he said it was horrible and he's not a picky eater. Overall, it wasn't the best Italian food. Service was fine. But it also annoyed me that they charged us $4 each for our soda refills and charged the kids for the price of a cappuccino for warm milk. I don't ever mind expensive restaurants, but this one was not worth the price.

Quiet spot just past the crazy of South Beach main strip. We saw the pizzas walking by and the simple thin crust pies instantly appeal to us (picky Melbourne Australia foodies). The staff was lovely and help us select some nice Italian whites to have with the two pizzas we shared. Crispy and lite, clean flavours, definitely a place to grab dinner.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner outside with delicious octopus salad, osso Bucco ravioli and the meat and cheese platter. Fantastic service recommended the Super Tuscany lupo blanco, combined with a light breeze - beautiful night!

OMG --- totally love this place! It is south of 5th - so a little quieter but the food is awesome. My hub started with the Tuna Carpaccio - and I had the Beef Carpaccio (with arugula and padano) Yum!!! They I had veal ravioli and my hubby had the linguini with clam sauce. We shared cannolis and tiramisu to finish. A couple of glasses of wine and they had to roll us out of there LOL. Seriously though, all homemade pasta which was fantastic. It was busy --- so a testament to a good spot! Pretty reasonable too for such good quality in the food. We'll be back! Molto bene!

Ordered a pappardelle ai funghi. When I had it, most of the noodles were stuck together, so I had to cut them with a knife!! It disappointed me.

As always great service and outstanding food quality. Not many places serve Italian food at this level of authenticity and as an Italian I should know. Pizza is one of the best in South Florida and the pasta dishes also very good. Wine list better than most

The food was excellent. But I really want to say something nice about the staff. The host, waiters, bus boys were all fantastic. I've never been to a restaurant where everyone was so genuinely friendly. Our waiters were from Italy and so kind and charming I just can't say enough nice things. Thank you for making it a great experience!

This restaurant has a nice setting inside and out. It is also on the quieter side of South Beach, so it makes for calmer outside dining still on Ocean Blvd. The 3 stars is for the service mainly. Our server was terrible, he didn't speak very good english. I understand we are all immigrants but he was getting mad at us for not understanding him versus us getting mad at him for not being able to understand him. He got visibly frustrated and was rude and not friendly especially as the night grew on. This led to very awkward encounters everytime he stopped by. The owner or manager should've been the server because he was actually nice and friendly. They offer to make things not on the menu, I ordered the Penne Arabiatta and it was decent. But, the service is lacking and I would probably not come back because of it. Luckily, there was a $15 for $30 voucher on Yelp to ease the pain of paying for bad service. Came on a Thursday night so wasn't like it was the craziest of times either.

As a New Englander I've been eating lobster for more than 40 years. The dish I had last night was one the most delicious lobster dishes ever. My wife loved her ravioli. If we get back to South Beach we'll be sure to go back!

Went in for lunch and it was dee-licious! The hostess Georgia was a sweetheart...very genuine and informative about the menu. My friend and I ordered the spinach salad with avocado, mozzarella and tomatoes which was very fresh and delicious. We shared the brick oven cooked Margherita pizza and the crust was thin and also very tasty and fresh. We both enjoyed our lunch and would like to return for dinner on our next trip to Miami. We were told that the pasta is cooked fresh and want to try the gnocchi. Five stars for service and food.

Tiny restaurant in old SoBe hotel. Very casual. We came for lunch straight from the beach. The pizza was amazing. Truly Italian. Best I have had outside of Naples, Italy. Spinach salad was so fresh and tasty I thought they just picked it. Gregarious and friendly Italian staff. They make their own pasta as well. Decent prices.

I went to this restaurant for dinner. I ordered a pizza and a pasta dish. The pizza was good, thin crust and not overloaded with toppings or cheese. The pasta was ok, home made but too much flour made it sticky and heavy. I am Italian and was slightly disappointed with the food. Prices were good. The staff was friendly but a little too chatty.

Excellent authentic Italian between 4th and 5th on Ocean Dr in South Beach. I live across the street (part time) and have become a regular. Very Italian staff with excellent knowledge of cuisine and great friendly attitude. The oven-fired breads and pizzas are awesome. Great wine list.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
